Accomplishments
Ms. Silver is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® Professional and is one of only a handful of attorneys in the Midwest who has achieved this designation. Her niche mediation practice focuses on mid-to-high net worth couples who are in financial conflict, and who are willing to work constructively toward a mutually acceptable path forward before resorting to divorce.
Ms. Silver has a distinctive combination of background qualifications—having a decade-long career as a financial planner where she held Series 7, 63, 65 and insurance licenses; a cultivated knowledge of divorce law and associated financial implications; and a mediation/arbitration practice — that allow her to hone in on the specific areas of conflict and help clients coalesce around potentially workable solutions on a forward-looking basis. Her process utilizes both individual and joint conversations that involve candor, practicality, creativity, humor, and a healthy dose of reality to help clients understand their options and alternatives.
