Accomplishments
During his diverse career, Mark has served as the General Counsel or Chief Legal Officer for several entities, including CompUSA, Inc., Trinity Highway Products, LLC and AmeriCredit Corps, and has been responsible for all legal matters related to the business operations of those entities.
Prior to joining USA&M, Mark Walker had a sophisticated solo legal and mediation practice based in Dallas, Texas. His experience covers a wide variety of matters primarily in the corporate and business environments. This includes contract drafting and negotiation, public debt and equity offerings, 1934 Act, NYSE, NASDAQ and Dodd/Frank compliance, litigation management, general corporate compliance and governance matters, formation and dissolution of legal entities, asset acquisitions and dispositions, and other corporate matters. Mark also has experience with the formation and governance of LLCs, partnerships, joint ventures and 501(c)(3) and (c)(6) entities, and analysis of franchise disclosure documents and related agreements for potential franchise investments.
As a mediator, Mark uses his broad corporate and organizational legal background to focus on mediation matters involving commercial and business litigation, complex commercial and contract disputes, partnership and LLC disputes, employment law matters, commercial and residential leases, unfair business competition, and false claims act lawsuits.
Mark moved to St. Louis with his wife, Perrin, in May 2024 to be closer to his daughter and other family who reside in the St. Louis Area.
