Accomplishments

Member of The Limbaugh Firm in Cape Girardeau, Missouri since 2003. Predominately engaged in civil litigation practice representing both plaintiffs and defendants, including employment, commercial, construction, insurance coverage and defense, and personal injury.  Certified as a mediator in the U.S. District Court E.D. of Missouri and qualified as a mediator in Missouri state courts, mediating approximately 25-30 cases per year. Circuit Judge, 32nd Judicial Circuit of Missouri in Cape Girardeau, Bollinger and Perry counties, Missouri 1993-2003. Appointed by Gov. Mel Carnahan to fill vacancy as trial judge for a three-county circuit.  Elected to a full six-year term in 1994.  Re-elected without opposition in 2000.  As a trial judge, presided over hundreds of jury and non-jury trials.  Resigned to return to private practice.
